Summer Camp Info & Frequently Asked Questions
What are Chesterfield MVP's Summer Camp Hours?
Our camp hours are 9am - 2pm, however we offer Before Care (8:15am - 9am) and After Care (2pm - 4:30pm) for an additional charge.
What type of games do you typically play with the kids?
We cater our games to the most popular and FUN PE games the kids love. Most of our games are the popular and FUN games in PE Class, which are cooperative games that can be played with any age or skill level. We try to emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship in our games, as we value our campers to have fun while being respectful to other campers during gameplay. We have 2 Certified PE Coaches who split up the children by grade levels (K-3) & (3-6) and they teach our campers just like they would in a public school gymnasium.
What are Role Models?
Check out our pages on the website as we have a blurb on all of our coaches, in addition to our Summer Camp Staff of Role Models. These pages will introduce our Camp Staff and what their roles are to MVP. In 2026, we have a lot of retuning Role Models from the past 2 or 3 summers, however we can always use more volunteers. Any interested high school students must fill out the volunteer Google Form on the Role Models page.
What will Chesterfield MVP provide my child?
We will provide 2 things on the 1st day of Camp:
A summer camp t-shirt will be given out the 1st day of camp. We request campers to wear their shirts on the last day of camp, however they can wear the shirts any day of our camp week.
New to 2026 Camp! - We will be providing draw string bags that each camper will get individually. Each camper will be provided this draw string bag on the 1st day of camp, so we are asking that this bag be the ONLY bag each camper brings to camp for the rest of the week so we don't have clutter in the gymnasium. This helps with the safety of all of our campers.
What do I need to provide my child each camp session?
Chesterfield MVP DOES NOT provide food to our campers, so any snacks, lunches or drinks must be provided by each family. We ask each camper bring their own water bottle each camp day. We will have plastic water bottles on hand for any campers that forgot their own water bottles or if they need refills during our camp day.
Is summer camp done outside of the Fenton Lane Building?
Yes, on a typical nice summer day we split up our Age Groups in 2 Groups with their own PE Coach. One group will go outside for a nature walk, free play, and playground, while our other group of campers are inside doing PE Games. Most of the day we are inside the gymnasium, but we use outside for recess after lunch and for our split games organized by the PE Coaches.
Do you have to be from Chesterfield to come to MVP Summer Camp?
NO, you can be a community member from any neighboring town as we have had campers from the past 4 years from towns such as Hamilton, Bordentown, Northern Burlington School District, Burlington, Allentown, etc.
How long in advance do you need to register for Summer Camp?
Most of our Summer Camp customers register for their children from January - March/April, therefore registering as EARLY AS POSSIBLE is always the safest approach. Once our Summer Camp Sessions reach max capacity, we will close the registration online for that Weekly Camp Session.
How does payment work and being Fully Registered for Camp?
To be Fully Registered, ALL Camp Payments must be mailed 2-3 Business Days after you complete camp registration online using our JotForm system. Checks MUST be addressed to Chesterfield MVP.
Camp payments can be sent to: Chesterfield MVP, PO Box 262, Crosswicks, NJ 08515

Cash is also accepted and a cash payment can be adjusted to your total if you email chesterfieldmvp@gmail.com.
Is there a waiting list for Closed Sessions?
Yes, If you see a week is gone, that means we are fully registered that week. However, we will add a wait list and sometimes we are able to accommodate campers if we have enough capacity and employees available.
Would rain affect our camp at Fenton Lane?
Nope, the games will be done inside and our lunch is done underneath the overhang that is provided on the Fenton Lane Green Building. This lunch area is used everyday for our Summer Camp (Rain or Shine) and the kids always stay dry while eating food.

Chesterfield MVP Summer Camp Information
Chesterfield MVP started out as a 1 Week Summer Camp in 2022 and it has now grown into a Multi Week Summer Camp Business (8:30-4:30), a Team Building Training Service, & a Party/Entertainment Business. The uniqueness of Chesterfield MVP Summer Camps/Events is that they are like an all day gym class where the certified teachers stress the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, while helping the children get lots of exercise and play time with children in their age level.
During our camp, children will meet new friends, make connections with peers, all while having a ton of FUN! Campers will participate in team and individual events, games, competitions, relays, and much more. Campers are divided into age appropriate groups during our camp while being supervised by PE Teachers and Role Models (Camp Counselors). We focus on gross motor skills, balance and coordination, endurance & cardiovascular conditioning, and most importantly making physical activity fun for our campers. In addition to these activities, each camp day we provide arts/crafts, board games, pickleball play, and playground time.
The goal of Chesterfield MVP is to foster fun, promote positive social and emotional learning outcomes for students entering grades (K-6), and implement quality physical activity experiences for children to thrive and learn through problem solving and teamwork.
